By the age of 41, I realized the biggest lie... π
1. Work and life are two different things.
For me, work is an integral part of life. We spend so much time in offices and cubicles, participating in meetings and longing for the day when we can sit on the seashore with a glass of tequila, enjoying idleness. Work is, first of all, our ambitions and the opportunity for self-realization. It is extremely important for me to maintain a balance between work and all other aspects of life in order to feel harmonious and fulfilled.
It is difficult for me to work according to a strict schedule, where ideas must appear only from 8 to 16, and after that you must completely switch only to family matters. Perhaps this is why flexibility of thinking is so important - the ability to perceive ideas in different time and situational conditions. For example, inspiration can come at any time, without a strict work schedule.

2. You should work exclusively for money.
No amount of money can replace your health if your work environment is toxic. If you're constantly stressed by an incompetent boss or passive-aggressive co-workers, you'll end up spending all your money on treatment. And you may be lucky enough to regain your health, but this is not guaranteed.
No amount of money will give you back the lost time spent on boring and uninteresting tasks. Time is a non-renewable resource and cannot be bought with money. Therefore, it is important to strive for work that brings satisfaction and harmony in order to preserve both health and precious time.

3. Losing a job is the end of the world.
I lost my job several times and it was extremely difficult both financially and mentally. It is very scary to realize that you are a specialist who does not meet the companyβs requirements. However, what a relief it was to finally get rid of the accumulated negativity. After all, there are always signs and premonitions that something is going wrong in the processes, and sometimes losing a job becomes exactly the push that helps you start over and move forward.
I stopped being afraid of losing my job because I came to believe in the importance of trust in life. Trust in life includes being true to your own values ββand believing that every situation in life has meaning and can lead to something positive.
β
4. It is important to be a good specialist and do your job, but communication is not important.
Communication is a key aspect of life. Without communication, any idea or initiative sooner or later dies. And your working place as well.
β
5. Passive aggression in a team can be easily ignored and experienced.
The main keyword here is aggression. A person with a normal psyche cannot withstand constant teasing, ridicule or other forms of implicit aggression, and sooner or later this can cause an emotional explosion or conflict.
β
6. Making the right decisions and being responsible is difficult.
For me, this brings a feeling of incredible freedom and liberation from stereotypical thinking. It's like expanding the boundaries of your consciousness and acquiring boundless courage. Only then can you truly understand your worth and your capabilities, often discovering new sides of your personality.
β
7. Multitasking is not possible.
Multitasking is possible provided that tasks are clearly planned for different periods of time - be it a day, a week, a month or even a year. Each task has a priority level, which helps determine which ones should be completed first. It is important to decide for yourself which tasks are most important to you at the moment. The only condition is not to give in to haste and panic in the process.
β
8. You need to be humble about your achievements because there are many professionals in the market who may be as experienced or even more qualified than you.
The time and effort that you spend on your training, completing tasks, both difficult and not very irreplaceable. If we talk about me, I invest 100 percent in my work and sometimes even more. I also identify myself with the generation whose values ββare based on the pursuit of high quality in everything.
My teacher in my photography class gave me great advice: to make money from your work, you need to show your creations.
β
9. It doesn't matter what the environment is. The main thing is to have a strong character.
In real life, people are often influenced by their social circles, work or school environment, family relationships and other factors that can greatly influence their behavior, thinking and personality development. The environment can be both a source of support, support, models and opportunities for personal growth and development, and a factor that can suppress and limit.
β
10. Problems and fears exist only for you. The rest can easily cope with this.
If someone around you always seems cheerful, energetic and efficient, it may be worth finding out how they achieve this state. Often such people hide their real problems behind a mask of positivity. We are all human, and we tend to hide our personal pains and difficulties, especially if we strive to maintain mental integrity and not bother others with our problems.
β
11. There is someone who knows better what you need to do.β
Even the most expert experts are prone to making mistakes because no person has absolute knowledge or complete information. Experts may make mistakes due to human factors such as bias, limited perspective, or incomplete understanding of the context. Moreover, the rapidly changing nature of science and technology can render even the most established knowledge obsolete.
