Happy camper

One of the most asked interview questions is describe your ideal work day.
For me, the ideal working day consists of one phrase - my ideal day when I want to create πŸ™‚ When I am interested in inventing and creating. It is you who is a hired worker - what you create for others. For me, it means giving. Give away your resource. With joy. Without feeling like you're being used like an inanimate object.

Dreams are dreams, but unfortunately reality makes its own adjustments. The world is endless and full of people who are not always happy with what you do, how you look, how you talk, how you live, and so on. In turn, I am a person with my ambitions, whims, problems and also with my judgment of others. Doesn't look good πŸ™‚

It seems to me that the basic model of an ideal working day rests on three pillars - Empathy, Trust and Acceptance.
Empathy for me is when people adequately interact with each other. For starters, at least they say helloπŸ™‚ They answer letters, come to meetings. Simple chatter is included here πŸ™‚

‍

‍

On the other hand, each of us does his own work and often they say that the team is not family or friends. But problems and bad mood will not go anywhere. Unless, of course, you're a robotπŸ™‚ I think it's very hard to smile and be kind when, for example, a child is sick or personal relationships have collapsed. Whether we like it or not, it has to be carried into the working environment.

‍
Then acceptance works. When you let a person be less than perfect for you. Here, by the way, we return to empathy. And remember that nothing lasts forever. The black bar always passes.

‍

‍

Trust. When you trust a person to do their job. The process and result of this work may be completely different from my idea. But I after all can softly correct it? If yes, then again we go into empathy and acceptance πŸ™‚

And then it turns out the perfect day - work is easy. Nothing stresses. You don't stamp. You don't dig into yourself and don't think what idiots are all around, and you are the only smart one. You just do your job with love.

Is it boring? But without harm to health πŸ™‚
