Apple of one’s eye

I love reading books. I buy real, paper ones that you can feel and look through. You sit (or lie down :)), you read and your thoughts go far, far into the world of book fantasy. What am I reading?

‍

Dune by Frank Herbert

I just started reading this book on the recommendation of my friend. I didn't like the movie of the same name at all. I'll try to understand the essence of the book πŸ™‚

‍

‍

Ray Bradbury

One of my favorite writers. I think his books are for all time.

‍

George Orwell

It seemed to me in a similar style to Bradbury.

‍

Harry potter books by Joanne Rowling

A stunning story that for me carries the meaning of strong friendship, eternal love and the right values in life. I read it in one breath at a fairly adult age.

‍

4321 by Paul Auster

Four stories about one person. A bit difficult to read and understand. Peculiar style of writing - one sentence per page or two. In general, it is confusing, but interesting.

‍

The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year by Sue Townsend

After reading this book, I thought about it for a long time. In general, the plot is understandable and quite trivial. A woman who put herself in the name of the family began to feel unnecessary. But then I realized that the meaning of this book is much deeper. Vital and depressing.

‍

‍

North Mythology by Neil Gaiman

Scandinavian fairy tales πŸ™‚

‍

‍

Wolkenschloss by Kerstin Gier

A book for teenagers. I bought it on Amazon. And she was very tiny. At that time, I was actively studying German and was hungry for new content.

‍

‍

Books I Buy When I Have a Creative Attack πŸ™‚

I love looking at them. Very attractive aesthetically and perfectly inspire creative exploits.

‍

Perfume by Patrick Suskind

I wanted to know the real book history.

‍

‍

Yes to Life by Viktor Frankl

I truly recommend this book. Really effective recommendations on how not to go crazy and save yourself in aggravating circumstances.

‍

Again beautiful aesthetics and inspiration

‍

Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse

This book didn't work for me. I always have an unpleasant aftertaste from digging deep into the depressed human soul. But it's probably worth a read πŸ™‚.

‍

‍

Lettering book

I learned how to draw beautiful letters.

‍

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Again, the book is better than the movie. Intriguing plot.

‍

‍

The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams

I bought this book when I was studying English. We read and translated quotes from this book. It was interesting to read the story in its entirety. In general, quite informative.

‍

Don Norman books

When you are a designer, you simply have to know this author πŸ™‚

‍

Business models

This is when I studied business analysis.

‍

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

A book for teenagers. On the recommendation of a German teacher πŸ™‚

‍

The History of a Color by Michel Pastoureau

Very interesting description. I highly recommend these books.

‍

The Agile Mind by Estanislao Bachrach

An interesting book about how the brain works. And how to make it work even better.

‍

Timeless by Kerstin Gier

Three stories for teenagers.

‍

‍

Van Gogh's Starry Night and other stories
